I’ve been using it every day. It’s given me no trouble and has handled yardwork, welding, and everything else that I’ve thrown at it. Overall very nice product and would highly recommend.
I work as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter, have had this watch for a few months now, and the face of the watch is abrasion and impact resistant against metal that has included schedule 10 and schedule 40 piping, metal decking, all-thread rod, et cetera. I have struck the face of the watch on metal decking several times while applying the necessary force for the torque-off bolts of beam clamps for seismic bracing. I’ve never had any issues washing my hands or showering while wearing this watch. This watch is well made and Dango offers a sleek and fairly priced metal band that is in silver; I chose to purchase a black metal band for this watch so that sunlight doesn’t reflect into my coworkers eyes while I am working. I’m very satisfied to be an owner of this watch.
The watch is great, rugged, simple, clean and has water resistance. I recently got baptized while wearing it and have taken it into the shower to test. No complaints! I don't need social media pings or screens to flick on my wrist. I just needed something simple and clean to dress up at the appropriate time (which is why I also got the leather band). I'm a simple man. I would buy another in this series.
Can someone tell me if there's some kind of AA groups for Dango consumers ? But seriously, this is my second time piece that I've purchased through Dango. My first was the CR-01 Chrono and that is only for dress occasions only. So I need and every day watch. I've been eye balling the Spec-Ops for some time and I decided to pull the trigger. I can say I'm not disappointed. I will say however the band is a little small for my wrist and is a little challenging to get on. I have to say the hardest thing I had to do when buy this watch was, what color I was going to choose. I guess I'll have to get a different color here in the near future. Keep up the great work Dango.
Professional and stylish looking watch with a military operator flare. Solid, heavy and durable. I think that a rubber/silicone band would compliment this watch better in a field environment. Appreciate the cerakote which provides protection against accidental bumps and scrapes. Couldnt make up my mind with all the great colors...I was going back and forth with OD green, desert sand and bronze. Utilimatly I went with the bronze...looks great, great product! I may purchase another in desert sand color!
Watch is very nice. Rugged yet stylish. Great for casual wear. Wallet I gave as a gift to a friend who travels a lot. He loves it. Tether I use for my car and house keys. Rock solid. No disappointment in all 3 products.
Love the watch, simple and works great. However no matter what I do, the numbers refuse to glow in the dark for more that a few minutes. Pretty disappointing honestly.
The look and feel is great very good quality. I purchased the burnt bronze love the way it looks. Now I want the OD Green one.
Will definitely be buying another one.
Watch is great so far. Matte Tan finish is exactly what I was hoping it would be. The nylon band is very comfortable and seems to be pretty durable, although I haven’t really put it to the test just yet. I also like that the watch face is fairly straight to the point with military time available. I’ve grown to prefer a simple analog watch over watches with features I will never use.
My only complaint is that the warranty clearly states that claims won’t be honored if it is found that the watch back was not sealed properly. The watch I received had a dead battery right out of the box, requiring the cover to be removed. If it hasn’t been replaced correctly, even though I was given a reason out of the box to take it off, warranty is void. Luckily, the price tag is more than fair and I’d be likely to just buy another one rather than pursue a warranty claim.
It’s a beautifully designed watch. I get a lot compliments on it. It has a large face and easy to read. It keeps good time. My one cons are the glow in dark numbers fade quickly and there is light on the dial of the watch. But other than that it’s a great watch.
As a watch collector I appreciate quality and in most cases simplicity. This watch has both. The band is heavy, sturdy and watch is easy to read and keeps perfect time. I gave it 5 stars and must give customer service the same exemplary rating. Buying many items online from time to time there is an issue. My first watch worked for first couple days then periodically just stopped. I contacted customer service who responded immediately with return/repair directions. I returned watch in generic box and a couple weeks later received it back in brand new company tin just as originally shipped. Customer service kept me updated every few days and the watch has performed flawlessly for months. Great quality product backed by superior service.
This watch is amazing. I had been looking for a spec ops watch that was unique and not cookie cutter. I like the green accent on the second hand as well as the other touches. The watch comes in at a great price point and keeps very accurate time.
I really like this watch. The dial layout is very unique. Two things held me back from a perfect 5 star rating. First, the lume on the watch is abysmal as it it is very dim and lasts no time at all. Second, the green tip on minutes hand is confusing. You have to hunt to find it on the dial since the hands are blacked out except the tips. As a suggestion I would change the minute hand to white or perhaps red so it is easier to recognize on the watch face.
This is an excellent watch for the price. I paid about $90 shipped on Black Friday for this item, but it would have still been a bargain even at $125. I went for the burnt bronze finish, which I really like, but I'd be curious to see the difference with the desert sand color. I was torn between the two. The strap that comes with the watch is actually a really high quality NATO-style strap. I also like the size of the watch - it isn't small. In terms of improvements, I wish it had better/more lume and I wish it had sapphire crystal, rather than mineral, but for $90, I cannot complain at all.
Love watch but had to order silicone band. Didn’t care for the nylon one. I hardly take watch off so when got wet took little to dry. Got new silicone one on it now and absolutely love watch now!!!
