Refreshed my wallet with a new leather bi fold after a number of years. The DTex held up really well but was starting to show some age. So i bough this to give it a new look. Im also really enjoying the notebook built in! Ive had a bunch of different trendy wallets but this one is top notch. Its one ill be keeping in my pocket for many more years.
Bought this to refurbish my D007 since I lost the original pen. The new pen is not as good and the cap is loose. Only held on by friction from o-rings on the pen shaft. The D-Tex had a very small tear along the wallet spine as well. I made it work, but was a bit disappointed.
This is my second wallet of this style, it is just to handy having a pen and paper in your pocket. Got this one because it has better water resistant cover. The first one I got is leather and soaks up water but I still use it. This one is for when I'ma out riding my bike in bad weather.
Very nice bit of kit! Works great on the T01 Ultem wallet.
Edit: Only about a month in and after little use, the DTEX material started to delaminate. I would not recommend DTEX as it is not very durable. Dango is apparently sending me a replacement but correspondence has been a little confusing and slow.
Dog ate the wallet, was still usable after but felt like I needed a change of color. Really fun taking it apart and rebuilding. Don’t over tighten the screws but after some use, check the screws again to make sure they’re tight. Considered maybe blue locktite but doesn’t seem apart of the original process. Thanks
I never received what is pictured here. I received a black cover only, no pen, no pad, no lanyard and no rawhide conversion kit for my wallet. Already emailed Dango over48 hours ago. So much for their promise to contact you in that timespan. I cannot recommend anyone to purchase their products at this point. I basically got ripped off by them.
I only got the wallet the first delivery. I had to email them but they sent the rest my order once they saw the original purchase . Other than that , love the wallet, it’s worth paying more for the metal piece that helps keep the pen wallet closed evenly
